Winter tires and Summer tires

In low temperatures, summer tires do not have the properties required for winter road conditions. Summer tires use a different material than winter tires and are suitable for use under warm conditions. In very low temperatures, summer tires may harden, which in turn reduces grip. Summer tires have poor grip on snow or icy roads.
